Phase II of MiSURVIVES: Leadership
Transition and Growth in 2007…
The news about jobs and the
economy continues to challenge us. When will this improve??
The answer is WE HAVE THE POWER TO CREATE A
DIFFERENT FUTURE. Change is the only constant,
and it is the strong who will survive this chaos. Be
strong. Be hopeful. YOU can do this!
On March 1, 2006, I founded
miSURVIVES because I had successfully transitioned several
times and wanted to help others going through similar
difficulties. For me, this is a passion and a way to
make a difference.
Just recently, a close death
in my family and the demands of my business have put
a severe strain on my ability to best lead miSURVIVES.
Thus I am truly excited to announce the energizing leadership
of Kathy Igoe as the new Managing Director. Kathy, a
career coach, shares my passion for helping people in
transition and will take what has been started to the
next level. (See her introduction in the June event
notice.)
Remember, we cannot always choose
what happens to us, but we always have control of our
response and an ability to turn lemons into lemonade.
Working together, no goal is out of reach.
So many wonderful people have
been involved on the board, as attendees, as friends
and as business associates. Thank you for your support
and uplifting emails! I do plan to stay involved as
a Board Member/Advisor and as a knowledgeable resource
providing focused, educational programs.
May all the personal and professional
success you desire become yours as we grow together
in 2007 and Phase II! Please extend your full support
to Kathy as she leads the charge forward.
