4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Financing Your Career Transition

AverTrust Advisors LLC is offering a free 2 hour workshop to help you financially strategize your transition. There are many strategies that you need to consider that could help during this stressful time, and mistakes you should avoid especially including 401K pitfalls that can negatively impact your retirement. Many aspects will be discussed including where you can cut back, health care considerations, planning techniques, mortgage options, credit card strategies, etc. Don’t wait until it’s too late to ask for advice.

6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Reinvigorate Your Job Search

Kevin Finn, Director of Career Services at Lawrence Tech, will be providing this 2 hour job search workshop. Is your job search stalling? There are many strategies to consider especially evaluating your current techniques versus high return techniques that will increase your long-term career satisfaction. Come and learn creative job search techniques and new ways to target your next career opportunity.
